Vordt from Stuttgart play uncompromising, depressive Black Metal. With a fluid symbiosis of flat, atmospheric sound paired with raw guitars and driving drums, their debut "Ashes" creates the impression of a band that knows what they want. Both the production and the attitude with which the five titles are presented are unmistakable. In terms of content, despair, depression and exodus resonate. Even if this is not reflected in the texts, they are politically clearly to be classified on the left - against Nazis/NSBM. "Ashes" by Vordt are almost 40 minutes between frenzy and taking a breath.
